Another art jam entry (2 in 2 days, whatta record!). This time it's for :iconbluebottleflyer: 's "Buggin' Out" art jam, which can be found here: [link] and the entries here: [link]

Since the requirement was to have my characters as bugs, I tried to mimic Mark's trademark B&F style for Candy and J Leslie Carmichael (whose actions here do show a few parallels to Mark's own Flyer and Willow). Here's hoping no bugs will be harmed in Candy's quest for something to nibble on! And to have a little extra fun for this one, I also added J-Les' friend Charlie, TimePeace's Rosey (amazed I never did this pun beefore :dummy: ) and Mark's own Flyer into the mix to add some kooky commentary! :dummy: Here's hoping it can contribute to the jam well enough!

The Buggin' Out art jam, the jam logo and Flyer belong to :iconbluebottleflyer: Candy, J-Les, Charlie, Rosey and the artwork belong to me.

I like how even as a bug he's still pink. :XD:

And that he's considered "brainfood," there's another amusing way to go about that as well. =P Well done!

I mulled it over whether or not he should just have a shirt or otherwise, and thought the pink bug look would be funnier! :lol: Glad to see it worked out in my favor! :D Thanks for the comment!

Mmm, tastes like jerk. Candy as a big butted spider is both ironic and fitting. The lineless, blurred background is very reminiscent of Mark's work, but I take it that was the intention?

Jerk spices are actually pretty tasty! =P Nonetheless, I thought the spider anatomy fit Candy well! And yeah, the background was Mark's B&F style inspired. :nod: Thanks for the input, pal! :thumbsup:
